SEDA Group and Initiative Sport have established a Joint Venture partnership to develop and deliver Professional Development/Educational based Sports Study Tours from Australia to the USA, UK and Europe, commencing in 2025. Sports Advancement Tours (SAT) is the registered brand name.
SEDA group is an Australian education provider who specialises in developing and delivering sports-based education programs for school and university students
Initiative Sport and Events is a leading Australian major events operator. Having successfully staged many major events internationally across the UK, USA & Asia.
All participants will undertake education based and leadership instruction and will be required to complete pre-determined tasks and reporting on the tour and post-tour.
The tours will be open to sports students and industry professionals of all levels and sports. Tour itineraries have been developed to cater for multi-sport needs and experiences, so that participants can enhance their expertise and share their knowledge with the Australian sports industry.
The Sport Advancement Tours consist of the following elements:
Selected travel arrangements as detailed in the tour guide.
Expert tour leadership – teachers, industry professionals
Visits, Tours and learning sessions at professional sporting organisations, clubs and stadiums
Tickets to professional sporting games
Cultural, Historic and entertainment based tours and experiences
Education based learning and professional development sessions
The package does not include the following and payment is the responsibility of the individual participant:
International flights
Pre or post event accomodation
Transfers or public transport unless specified.
Meals other than breakfast, unless specified
Miscellaneous expenses
Travel Insurance
SAT is encouraging a fun and enjoyable experience for all participants, which includes a commitment to inclusion, cultural diversity and equal opportunities for all participants.
SAT will be operating with a Zero Tolerance Policy on illicit drugs purchasing and usage, excessive alcohol consumption and unruly and anti-social behaviour. SAT reserves the right to withdraw any participants from the Tour, at its discretion.
Tours are subject to minimum numbers. Where minimum numbers are not met by the balance payment due date all deposits will be refunded.
Upon confirmation that minimum number of participants have registered, all key components of the Tour will be finalised, booked and paid, with the deposit non-refundable.
SAT will not be held liable for any travel arrangements booked by the participant before tour minimum numbers are confirmed.
